<p>If I remember correctly I think sometime late August/early September you'll know your roommates and where you're living.</p>
<p>Well, I applied for AV and my email was personalized for that. But yes, I filled it out online ( :</p>
<p>i thought housing contracts are suppose to arrive later...</p>
<p>Well, this is what they emailed me:</p>
<p>"*Dear Student,</p>
<p>Congratulations on your admission to UC Irvine! We have received your housing application, in which you state a preference for the Arroyo Vista Theme House community. To assist us with housing assignments, please click on the link below and complete the online survey regarding your housing preferences. The survey asks you for:</p>
<pre><code>* Information about yourself (Name, ID, contact information, major, etc)
* Confirmation of your housing community type preference (Arroyo Vista or Residence Halls)
* House selection preferences and brief response questions for each house you select (Select 2 or 3 houses and answer 2 questions for each)

<p>It is very important that you complete the online survey and submit it by Tuesday, May 13th at 8 a.m. Because the demand for Arroyo Vista is greater than the number of spaces available, Student Housing cannot guarantee your first choice housing community or theme house. <p>why would u apply for av as a freshman? its horrible, live in the dorms instead</p>
<p>The dorms are more expensive and I don't require that much food as a meal plan (I'm pescetarian... and they don't have really good vegan/veggie food there). Also, I like the independence and really nice themes!</p>
<p>How do you get the housing survey?<br>
I sleep at lyke really late hours of the morning because I'm playing games and screaming at my laptop and i don't want someone who sleeps at lyke...9pm on the dot. ><</p>

<p>im happy that my roommate is never here, i have like a single room to myself all day.</p>
<p>i called. they said they still have the housing contracts with them. and i checked. i think for residential hall, they send it in late may/early june. i think i read something about AV and it was saying that some might get it via email. so don't worry too much about it cuz i called. so that should be rite</p>
