<p>False. It really depends on where you live.
Also, location does matter, depending on your major. For example, ISR is ideal for an engineering major.</p>

<p>FAR/PAR dorms are really what you make of them. They are far away and filled with international students, so if you want to, you can have a really bad time. On the other hand, they have lots of people and are filled with international students, so if you want to, you can meet a LOT of interesting people. My current roommate lived in Trelease his freshman year, and he didn’t have any problems.</p>
<p>I lived in ISR freshman year and had a VERY crappy floor. However, not all ISR floors are bad, you are just more likely to have an antisocial floor at ISR than if you were at Forbes or something.</p>
<p>You can have a good time at any dorm, or a bad time at any dorm. Some just makes it a little bit easier to have that good time than others.</p>
