I received an email a few days ago saying I am wait listed for housing as an incoming freshman for the Fall of 2013. I called today and they said I am in the top 300 on the waiting list, what are my chances of getting housing before school starts? I applied for the residence halls.

I was also around 300 last year and I got in about 2 weeks before the quarter started. This was for the suites though.

Has anyone received any notifications for the suites? I still haven’t heard back they kept telling me to call back tommorow every time I call.

I called the other day and they said I was in the top 300 on the wait-list for the suites. I plan to stay on it until the quarter starts and if nothing happens I’ll prob just get my deposit back.

Wow this complicates everything now I have to look for an apartment. Also why is everyone on top 300? It’s like they don’t tell you the exact number you are?

After not getting any email called today. Was told “in the top 200 on wait list”. This is for the suites. Why aren’t these guys better about communicating? I agree it complicates things to look for an apartment at this stage. Even CPP village is full and they were putting people in Shilo Inn which didn’t sound like much fun.

To CPP Admin:

If you institute a freshman residency requirement, you need to build more dorms!

After not hearing anything I called and was told am in top 300 in waitlist. This is ridiculous when were they planning to notify us that we got waitlisted? A week before school starts?
