Housing Waitlist

frasifrasi, I don’t think you’re being offered an apartment, this is what the first email I received said.

“With approximately a week to go before the start of the Fall 2009 semester there are a very limited number of spaces available in the residence halls”

Yeah, basically the people in the dorms are given priority in the west apartment, that is why only residence hall spaces were opened up so I am not jumping in yet. The dorms haven’t really worked for me so far so I don’t want to take a chance.

im in the same boat as you! right now im number 250, which sucks because that means i definitely wont be getting a room this semester. i commute about 40 minutes (one way), around 35 miles. and im a freshman so id really prefer not to have to go all that way back and forth for the whole year. as long as i could maybe get a room for the spring semester then ill be fine, i hope!

xokisses708, I’m pretty sure freshmen are guaranteed housing, not sure why you’re on a wait list.

I had to commute over 2 hours to get to high school each way for four years, it’s nothing when you get used to it.
