I applied for the UCR honors program and i met a few people during highlander day that i think i would want as my roommate but they didnt apply to the honors program. Is it possible for someone with honors to room with non-honors and does anyone know when the honor program’s decisions come out? And if you have to room with someone in the honors program do you choose your own roommate?

I just received my honors acceptance today! As far as I know, they match you with a honors student as a roommate.
I received my honors acceptance today too! As for roommates, honors students are required to live in the Pentland Hills University Honors living-learning community, unless they cannot live in PH for some reason. Then they can apply for an exception. So if you choose to live in PH, your roommate choices will likely be limited to other honors students.
