What are my chances of getting the Honors dorm that applied to get? I postmarked my housing contract application the day before it was due, and I put Bradley Hall for all of my choices, and I did not give a second choice. I really wanted to room there. If I do not end up rooming there, will they automatically still try and put me in honors dorms, or will they put me in a regular dorm then? Thanks

From what I’ve heard, they do a really good job of trying to match people’s interests (both housing-wise & roommate-wise) as close to what they put on their contract as possible. I talked to someone at Ohio State over the phone and I was told that they actually do housing by hand instead of letting a computer decide. I’m not too sure about all that, but on the housing contract there was a place where you could put the different aspects of housing in order of which was most important. So for example, you could put that learning communities is your top priority, the resident hall comes second, the room type (single or double) comes third, etc. So hopefully you’ll end up with the housing you want. Good luck! (:
