Any campus housing recs. for freshman engineering student...thanks.

There is a dorm on campus that houses the RISE program: Residents In Science And Engineering which is a living-learning community for engineering students. Here’s more info: [Welcome : Clemson University](RISE Program)

If you are a girl, there is WISER: Women’s In Science & Engineering Residence. (info: [Clemson University : Women in Science and Engineering : Women in Science Engineering Residence (WISER)](<a href=“Clemson PEER/WISE | College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences | Clemson University, South Carolina”>Clemson PEER/WISE | College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences | Clemson University, South Carolina))

I would highly recommend the living and learning communities. They are a great way to connect with other engineering majors from the start, the supplemental programs and advising are typically beneficial, and the Shoeboxes, while “classic” dorms have a great location near the stadium.

What about the CBE, Clemson Business Experience? How much time do the living and learning community activities take up? Do these students tend to be a closer group than say a group of students living on the same floor in Clemson House?
