I know you are able to apply for housing now, but that requires a housing deposit and everything and I'm not sure I'm ready to make the commitment to Hofstra yet, so I was going to wait until I get the financial aid package info before I make a decision on a college. But the fact that the housing application is available now worries me. Will there still be room if I wait until then to apply?

Yes, there never really is a time when it’s completely full

Okay got it, thanks!

Um, the person who “answered” your question self-identifies on another thread as an 8th grade student.

Do not trust his answer. Call the school.

Good point I guess I’ll just do that

Hey tylertech,

Don’t worry, the deadline to submit your deposit and housing is May 1. If you’re coming in as a freshman, we have a separate residence hall called the Netherlands where we make sure there is room for the incoming class.

Ah okay, thank you so much for clearing that up for me!

i think most people will probably wait til they get their financial aid letters too. i am also an admitted student and i will only consider attending if it is affordable
