I got admitted as transfer, I lean towards on campus housing than off. There are so many options, which dorm should I go for? any thoughts?

The typical answer for this is Wada/Martinez, only upper div students can live in the apartments. If you’re engineering, you might want Foothill, since it’s near that corner of campus. Otherwise, just pick your favorites… go for what’s closest to your classes, look at the general location, decide what type of room you want, etc.

Hey! On-campus housing is a very smart choice for transfers, because we have so much less time to establish our social circles. It’s a great way to meet a lot of people right off the bat, and if you choose the upper division apartments (Wada/Martinez/Channing Bowditch) you’ll be meeting a lot of other transfer students.

I made the really, really stupid decision of living in the dorms. It was fun at first, but being surrounded by freshmen gets old pretty fast. The apartments are definitely the best choice.
