Housing?!

<p>I know there are millions of threads for best/worst housing, but I was hoping for some updated advice on chances.</p>

<p>I already have my top three picked out, but I'm struggling to figure out to put for my fourth.
On one hand I want it to be a great room/location up to par with the rest of my choices</p>

<p>On the other hand, I want to have a good chance of getting in it (so I am not placed in somewhere that I can't picture my self <em>cough foothill quad cough</em></p>

<p>So i'm looking for a room that is unpopular but a hidden gem...? if that makes sense.</p>

<p>any advice at all would be helpful</p>

<p>I am thinking about either
CK triple suite (PRO triples less desirable CON less than 15 spaces)
CK double (PRO double in a pretty complex CON long walk without the joys of having a suite to come home too)
Unit 1 Substance free (PRO good location with a possibility of being less desirable CON social environment/stigma/ not a suite)</p>

<p>Just pick one… honestly, if it’s 4th on your list, it’s unlikely you’ll get it. If you hit 4, chances are you’ve got a pretty bad lotto number and’ll end up who-knows-where anyways. If location is really important to you, just go for something broad in your favorite unit.</p>

<p>Honestly, you’ll probably learn to like where you end up, even if just for the people you’ll meet there. Foothill actually doesn’t seem that bad, aside from the trek uphill - everyone I know who’s ended up there prefer it over the units.</p>
