does anyone here have some insights on housing? I'm kind of liking the carman suite, ac, and bathroom situation. . . . It's also has the most partying, though, which isn't my thing, really. . . .

Yeah, I feel the same way about Carman, too, which is why I was leaning toward John Jay. I dunno, it'd be weird to be in a single, don't you think?

yeah, agreed. I lived in a single this summer at music camp, though, and it was nice to practice in, and you can control loud/quiet and alone/socializing, and you can always invite your friends there. I know someone who lives in John Jay. The one thing that makes me unsure about John Jay are the bathrooms. I don't like the bathrooms for lots of people. I think the carman ones would be better taken care of if you can request neat roommates. Bigger windows, too.

wow i haven't even looked at housing yet! are they gonna send us forms and stuff in the fedex envelope (it feels so great to write that)?

I have no idea. We just like to get ahead of ourselves, don't we? Haha...
Haha, we should all apply for housing in the same place. That'd be fun, we could have CC parties.
Do you guys know about the New Student Orientation Program? If you don't, I'd love to tell you. It's AWESOME. Haha, whoah.

It's December. Must. Pass. Calculus.

Same here. I've been obsessing about columbia, cruising the website far too much. . . . and now it's time to do my loadsss of homework due before winter break. Fortunately, I'm did well on the calc test today. Bio and chem on the other hand, well. . . .

Haha, yeah, i understand.
John Jay doesn't have AC in rooms. Big no-no. So, I'm thinking either Carman or Furnald, leaning toward Carman just to have a bathroom.
My Calc grade has slowly been on the decline....oh well..

SADIA!!!!! I want to know about the New Student Orientation Program. And I want to get Carman.

I have had nothing but horrible experiences with roommates so I'm chosing John Jay or Furnald!!!

Anxious!

Is the website, but they took down all of the schedules and stuff for this past year. Basically, it's a week of programs for us -- Club Night, Gaming Night, Tours throughout New York, Fun Classes, they hypnotist, registration, etc. etc -- It just sounds so awesome! =) You meet a lot of people this way, from what I understand.
