Does any one have advice for freshman housing? I received the packet but I would love to hear your thoughts. What are the dorms like? What dorms are the newest, social/ antisocial etc.. Also, what do you think about singles or roommates? Thanks!!

Well, from my alumni "interview," he told me a few things:

Housing is primarily North Campus and West Campus.

If you live in North Campus, you will have access to great food and will most likely gain 100 pounds (hyperbole btw) by the end of the year.

In West Campus, you will be jacked beyond belief because the food isn't as great and you have to walk up a long hill everyday to go anywhere.

Then again, this particular alum was class of 1970. Maybe the food has changed

I answered this in another thread if you go down a few.

All freshman live on North Campus. Theres pretty much no use in wieghing the dorms because you will get a random placement.
