housing?????

im worried i might not get housing

i applied for housing on june 15th

im on the waiting list right now

its almost a month until college starts and they still have not called me back regarding this

can anybody tell me if there is a chance i might not get housing???

You know dam well that you aren't getting an assignment on time. but thats ok, all you need is to search the 'community living' listings and find YOURSELF a place. i was once like you (until earlier today). go here <a href="http://students23.ucr.edu/ucroch/UCR.htm%5B/url%5D">http://students23.ucr.edu/ucroch/UCR.htm</a> or here <a href="http://www.housing.ucr.edu/indexsub.php?content=community/index.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.housing.ucr.edu/indexsub.php?content=community/index.html</a> (click student link login using your student identifiers and search and even submit an ad)

i want to live on campus

walking distance not close enough, eh? dude, get your priorities straight (do you want or do you need?). on campus?, why? no liquor... oh wait, are you scurred? dorm life isn't like the movies anyway. hey, didn't you post that you were going to state san diego or something?

Why are you waiting for them to call you? CALL THEM! I've spoken to the UCR housing staff and they are all either really lazy, or really busy. You gotta take the initiative and make them do their job properly.

And from what I know, they don't start sending out housing decisions till Sept. 1. But that's for those ppl who applied on time. I don't know how the waiting list decisions are made but if I was you I'd definitely give them a call and bug the hell out of them.

illegitimate2- i was rescinded from san diego state for something stupid that i could have appealed for but i decided on UCR

sdyk913- i called them last week and they told me they were going to send me a letter which they did but it only said that i still dont get housing but they're going to try to put me somewhere
