I just got mail saying that my room assignment is complete. It says to go to MyUCDavis and click on the View My Information link, but I can not find it. Help?

I may be totally wrong, but I believe when I was an incoming frosh, our dorm room & building was listed under "my phone" in the student information tab (because that site listed what phone service you had in your room

Go to your main page of myadmissions@ucdavis.edu. in the lower left hand corner there is a link for student housing.

its not up yet. i called housing and they said they sent the letters out too early and the info will be up in the morning.

yeah I got the letter, and the information is not up yet. Anyone know how to get a better deal on a fridge? their prices to rent one look close to actually buying one.

See if you can find an upper class student who is moving into an apartment and doesn't need theirs anymore dude. I've heard they will often times give them away.

around the end of this month you will find all sorts of perfectly good items in the dumpster areas of apartment complexes - people are moving & don't have room for some stuff & just toss it. My friend's entire entertainment center (tv also) was found in the dumpster areas & it's in almost new-looking condition. Maybe you'd luck out & find a fridge

Pearlinthemist nailed it on the head. Our neighbor dumpster dives at the apartments down the street every year when students move out and they throw EVERYTHING away. She gets an almost brand new gas grill every year. One year she found bags and bads of brand new clothes with all the tags still attached including many expensive wool sweaters. All Things Right and Relevant really made a haul that year from all the stuff given to them from the apartment dumpsters.

hi everyone in the davis forum. If ur moving out, pleeease dont through away ur dorm stuff. Give them to me! =] ill make good use of it. >_<

Yeah, I also have another friend that rents a house. He dumpster dives every year around this time getting stuff & then stores it in his garage for a week or so & then has a massive garage sale of all the stuff he found. Not a bad way to supplement your income haha.
