Housing

Hello, I got accepted into ERC. I was wondering if the doubles there were also being converted to triples. And if so, which would you recommend--singles or triples?

Thank you.

get a single!

hmm...triples! more ppl = fun

i second the single! the double room for three ppl = toooo small @_@

question: is there a difference between suites, apartments, or regular dorms or somethign?

Because all I know is that I want a single >.>;; but I dont' erally understand everything else lol

I don't think there's any regular dorms.

There's suites and there's apartments. I know that at Warren apartments don't have singles, but the suites have 4 singles and 2 triples. That's what it looks like.

Which college did you get into? I can find the floorplan for you.

EDIT: If I remember correctly you're going to Sixth so here's the floor plan:
http://hds.ucsd.edu/sixth/layouts.html

So it seems that if you want a single, you're going to have to get an apartment. (same cost though so no big deal)

Yeah I've been to the site... but I never actually thought about apartments and suties so I asked XD;;

Do apartments cost that much more or something? o.o;;

i've lived in both the apartments and the residence halls, and no, there is no price difference. a single in the apartments $ = a single in the res halls.

the main differences (or at least in erc!!): apartments are probably more than 90% sophomores, so it's much more quiet and deserted. apartments also are like mini suites with 4 single rooms, a kitchen with refrigerator/oven/microwave, a dining room, a living room, 2 open room sinks, and one closed separate toilet room and one closed separate shower room.
