which campus is best overall? at busch campus, which hall would you say is the best? I don't want a particularly rambunctuous/party hall....I'd prefer it slightly quieter

well on busch, you have a large majority of the asian population, as well as mostly all of the engineering and pharmacy majors. So basically busch is definitely the campus to stay on if you really plan to get a lot of work done. On Busch, the only dorms that I know of are the "BAMM" dorms (Barr, Allen, Mattia, Metzger) and for Honors college kids, the McCormick suites. From what I gather, the Barr Hall dorms are for engineering majors. I've seen Barr, Mattia and Metzger, and they're pretty average dorms. But yeah anyway, if you get one of the "BAMM" dorms on busch you're set.

Most of the College ave dorms are nice, but as a freshman I've been told that its not a good idea to stay on college ave because you really don't get the true freshman experience. On college ave, the scene is pretty great with frat row and a whole bunch of upperclassmen, but you really won't get much work done. Perfect example: I know a person who is on college ave as a freshman, and a person who is on busch and they take the same classes. One has a 3.0 (college ave) the other has a 3.8....just putting that into perspective for ya.

I really don't know much about livingston, other than the fact that its VERY isolated and the Quad dorms suck. If you're the type of person who really does not want to socialize much, then I'd recommend livingston.

But, I'm sure most other people would agree, Busch is the best because it has the best of both worlds (social scene and academics).

Hope this helps.

haha nik how do u know so much bout RU dorms

dude, my sister's been goin there for 6 years and I have 2 cousins who go there

thanks, very helpful... I will probably end up on Busch campus being a chem major
