I was wondering, does Cornell allow incoming freshman to get single dorms, i.e. not have any roommates? I don't think so, but I wanted to confirm.

In addition, in the packet of mail that I got after being accepted are a whole ream of forms I have to look at. Does anyone know what they mean by the health card that we need to submit by June 11? I haven't gotten a chance to open the packet yet, but I was wondering what others were doing.

If you are a girl and request a single, you have a higher chance of being placed in Balch (all girls) because they have a lot of singles. Some of the coed dorms have them too though, so its just luck.

the health card is the one where your doctor fills it out (it's basically you getting a physical and optional vaccinations)

freshman can get singles, i recommend you sign up for housing as soon as the website lets you or else you'll end up in the high rises (the worst dorms on north)...even the low rises are nicer

lol im a MALE in balch right now (summer session) and i have to say...living here is like woahhhh. girls...request single sex and try to get balch. wow.

i need to enjoy these bathrooms while i can because next year...boldt...
