<p>So now that we’re all officially declared to go, when do we register/find out/do something about housing? Do we fill out forms for roommate preferences or is every student assigned a dorm/roommate randomly?</p>
<p>Upon receiving your commitment card, Brown will send you a huge packet of stuff including the housing form. The housing form consists of about 5 or 6 questions, but from what I hear the form doesn't carry much weight in the roommate matching process and room assignments are basically random.</p>
<p>And you'll hear in late July, I believe.</p>
