<p>So in my acceptance letter they said they would send housing info along with colonial inauguration info in march, but i logged onto the housing website and it looks like you can start already!!! does anyone know how to do it or if u can? because i dont want to end up in thurston!!!!</p>
<p>Unless it's changed from last year, only returning students can register now for housing for next year. New students register in June, if I remember correctly.</p>
<p>They're sending packets the end of March with instructions for ED accepted students to register first... you won't get stuck in Thurston. Looks like the RD students get their packet in mid May based on last years thread. I know you have to register through a seperate portal or something.</p>
<p>My D was admitted RD last year, and the housing registration opened toward the end of April. I believe she was able to submit it even before they had received her deposit. It seemed that if students listed Somers anywhere in their 7 preferences, they ended up on the Vern.</p>
<p>your selection starts in June for the RD. They let you know in July your assignment.

<p>Well, if you look on the website under Welcome</a> Class of 2013 - gwired.gwu.edu/freshmen you will see that housing applications CLOSE May 29, so don't wait until June to sign up.</p>

<p>yes, I found the page last night. Different this year. Everyone will get the same time frame to register but they will pull EDI first to assign, then EDII, then RD.</p>
<p>Multitasker - I thought everyone, ED or RD, registers for housing at the same time (May-ish) and finds out at the same time (late July). I think the only difference is that ED gets priority.</p>
