You have to fill out a housing application. You get to state what your top choices are, but the decision of where you'll stay is ultimately not yours. )I'm not sure where engineers usually like to be in relation to where their classes are usually held.) They send you a housing contract when they have decided where you'll be staying (mine was actually sent out today - saw my status online). You might not get the housing assignment that you wanted in the end.

thankyou........!!!

If you're in engineering, the vast majority of your classes will still be on Central Campus the first year or two.

yeah north campus blows-i had to go up there because my research for UROP was at the VA hostpital (across fuller road from north campus) and occaisionally to swim when the ccrb and im buildings were closed (I'm a competitive triathlete), and every time i went up there, I thought man it would suck to live here.

I think it's actually nicer - I like the architecture, reflecting ponds/fountains, tower etc.

That said- it's a nice place to visit once or twice, but every time I got on that bus I couldn't help but thank god I didn't have to deal with that 4+ times a day.
