Chill. Lol There are a really finite number of single rooms available until you get to be a junior or senior by which point pretty much everyone gets them. But having a roommate is a great way to meet people.

Smith Hall as far as I know does not have any singles. It’s a nice dorm in Complex. I think it might be all-girls, but unsure.

I am a dude, so if smith hall is all girls, NICE…hope there is a lot of HOT girls around me…

Ugh I got stuck in thomas and I didnt even put an all girls hall as one of my preferences… Is there usually all of the really conservative girls staying in thomas?

I wouldn’t worry about it too much natalie. Thomas, Smith and Hopkins are all connected - they’re essentially one building. You’ll meet a lot of people (read: guys) in the other two halls and in Harris, which is right next door. A lot of girls get put in Thomas just because there are more girls than guys at Emory. There are some others in your same situation.

I promise you will meet like-minded people once you get on campus.

natatlie:

Not to worry. I’d be willing to bet that there ain’t too many “really conservative” girls (or guys, for that matter) attending Emory.

Are the beds extra size twin beds or normal sized?

Harris Hall single. YES! 346 is where it’s at.

And ricericerice, I would go to the housing site and take an online tour of one of the rooms.

Congrats hilsa!

Be sure to join the facebook groups of your halls!

There’s a lot of minorities in Harris O.o

theres a lot of minorities at emory…

I’m talking about the diversity of the dorms.

do any of you guys know my chances of getting a room change for a single…
