<p>I chose the topic where I had to write about an event that has influenced me the most.
So, I wrote (am writing) about how me as a child/teen moving more than 10 times changed me. Also, I squeezed in my short 300 word essay how those transition periods affected my freshman year GPA (I'm an international from S.Korea, now in the states. freshman year grade's from korea D:) Is this a good topic to write about?</p>

<p>Sure it can be a good topic, though I have heard the “moving a lot” topic before, as well as the “immigration move” topic. But if it’s an event that most influenced you, and it has really affected your life, then awesome! Go for it. If you don’t think you can write a significant, somewhat original on the topic, try something else… good luck!</p>

<p>300 words is a bit less than average (typically, 500-550 is “normal”) but don’t add extra ‘stuff’ just for the words. 300 might just work for your essay!</p>
