<p>This made a huge difference for me:</p>

<p>Watch the Dark Night at 7:00 pm the night before; pumps you up and always a good SAT example!!!</p>

<p>Wake up around 6:00 eat a snicker bar, the energy kicks in when you are about to take the test!!!</p>

<p>Finally, make a cd and listen to it on the way to the test…My cd has Drake and Big Sean</p>

<p>lol ^ I second the music thing. I made a SAT day playlist to help calm my nerves.</p>

<p>Do: keep yourself in an SAT frame of mind the week before the test. Keep practicing tests, revising words, reading articles etc so that you get you can keep your mind in a SAT ready mode. (I hope that made sense)</p>

<p>Don’t: overload yourself the week before the test. Some people have the notion that, alright its the last week so its time to double up on my practice tests and words. NO!During this week you should do much less work, but of a much higher quality. Instead of doing an entire section of an SAT, for example, spend the same amount of time focusing on three or four truly difficult questions.</p>

Just out of curiosity, did you guys take your SATs yet and how did you do
Im taking mine January 28th</p>

<p>Make sure you actually use the bathroom! A full bladder honestly does suck. And an empty stomach of course.</p>

<p>Beforehand:</p>

<p>–Veg out in front of the TV, watch Dr. Who for 3 straight hours. </p>

<p>–Listen to Coldplay! :smiley: Yay calmness!</p>

<p>–Go stare at your practice SAT scores (preferably 2300+) so you can feel smart and get your confidence up. :)</p>

<p>–Put on Converse! They will keep your feet cozy in the freezing classroom.</p>

<p>After:</p>

<p>-- a. go to Zaxby’s and eat wings, try to forget about SAT.
– b. eat more wings</p>

<p>I always find it better to watch a movie afterwards

because i had a stopwatch built into my watch and used it as a timer
it sorta made me more stressed because the milliseconds, or whatever, were so fast I was all like “Noooo times running out!”</p>
