just wondering what other peoples' experiences with it were (preferrably seniors who already know where they got in)

I think it's a good tool in general but not specific enough to be accurate. As far as I know, the only things it includes in its calculations of "match, safety, reach" are GPA, SAT and ACT Obviously alot more than that goes into the process.

I think that for the most part the recommendations were on par with the opinions and experience of the people here.

Actually, I think they take into account volume of ECs and volunteer work, and possibly a couple other things. I'm just a junior in HS so I have no idea if it's accurate, however, it listed Princeton and Rice as "matches" for me and I think most people on this thread would probably list those as reaches due to my average SAT (2130), so I guess you never know, but I would say it's a good tool-it might give you some ideas that you hadn't previously considered.

Mine are right on...they keep updating it, it's getting better.

pretty accurate....for me. said i was a good match for ucsd and that's where i am. said i was slightly reaching for ucla and that's where i was rejected.

I took it, and it said that Princeton is slightly reach for me (76% fit for my profile). Does it mean that I do have a chance to get in?
