anyone who has been accepted into college and who has had a chances thread on CC post their actual results?
This should be itneresting!

Sorry, i meant interesting

CC chances are pretty much pure gossip.

theres not a formula that cc uses- its mostly high school students guessing

lol yeah basically, but still fun :p

in other words, they're not accurate. However some "veteran" pridictions are a accurate i guess

i think they are just going to reaffirm what u already know. If you have a unweighted GPA of 4.0 you're going to have a better chance at Harvard than someone with a 2.3.

I'd say it really depends on who replies. Someone who's actually going to the college? Much more accurate than random person A.

Having said that if anyone wants to know, I was accepted to UVA, NYU, USC (Southern California), and U Rochester. I don't see how my stats would help you guys, more like make you go ..***? How'd she get in?! But I'll post them if you want..

ok... do it

I'd actually posted all my stats before deciding that wasn't the smartest thing to do. Sorry =P. Too much private information online is never good.

Taiwanese trick. Us mainlanders will never lie. Lol I'm kidding.

LOL. =P You know seriously speaking, it's the other way here. We always get horror stories about China. O_O

Well, I suppose my numbers wouldn't hurt much.

GPA: 4.0 uw
SAT (highest): 760 CR, 720 Math, 760 Writing
SATII: 800 Chinese w/ Listening, 760 Math IIC, 740 Biology Molecular.

Hope this helps people?

I remember a month or two back I did a fake chances thread to see if these cc'ers were able to actually guess where I would get accepted, they def weren't pinpont accurate, but overall not too bad.

tonyt88, can you find that thread and post the real results?

URM. Decent ECs. Low SATs. Average GPA.

At least I'm damn proud of being average, unlike you hikaru2005, who is such a little bastard you title your "average" stats, only to stick in people's faces your overblown scores. 8P
