How accurate are practice tests made by private companies?

<p>I bought a US History SAT Subject Preparation book from the company Kaplan. I've been studying through some of it and took a practice test and received a 630.</p>

<p>Is this an accurate reflection of my score on the real test?</p>

<p>Hmm. Kaplan's generally pretty reliable, but I'm not sure for SAT US History. Best to get someone else's opinion.</p>

<p>US history practice review books are all really hard for some reason, if you are aiming for 800 get a 700 on them an you are set.</p>
