Would colleges look down at a couple errors here or there (though I hope there aren't any)? Aren't they going to follow up the info with our 2008 tax return anyways?</p>
<p>Actually YOU will be amending that Profile to reflect the 2008 tax information. If you are using estimates, it is VERY important to use the best estimates of your 2008 information that you can make. The financial aid award you might receive with estimates CAN be changed if your final figures are different. Until you finalize with your 2008 data and taxes filed, your financial aid award will be an estimate only.</p>
