How accurate is cracking the ACTvs. Real ACT

Okay, so I've been taking the PR practice for a while starting with a 23 to 33-34 on my most recent practice in the course of a few months spending an hour a day/5 days a week studying and taking practice tests. Why is it that when I take an actual ACT test from the red book I end up getting a 28 when in the PR book I am consistently getting 33-34? Is ot that I am too used to the PR book? Or is it that the 28 is my actual score? I need to know this fairly soon because I am taking the September 21 ACT.

Have you consistently scored 33-34 on PR or just a one time thing? Most people said the red book is more accurate.

No I have consistently scored 30+ on the PR test and have only used the real once. Anyone else want to reply?

I used both books and got 28-30 on tests in both books. I got a 32 on the actual act. Also I didn’t take the practice tests under test like conditions or anything so it was wierd

Okay thanks, so do I have anything to worry about? I’m thinking I should use this last month to study the real act and get that score up.

Anyone else? BUMP!

I’m also scoring a 29 on PR’s 1296 which is notoriously more difficult then the actual act.

Anyone else have any input? All are appreciated. :)

You scores may go up in the subsequent red book practice exams, then you’ll feel better  I wouldn’t worry too much with just one test.

Ok thank you ;)
