Interesting.. I scored a 24 on the Science on the real act test in April. On the Kaplan though, -both- science practice tests have been 24s too. I guess I can hope this is a good sign that there's been improvement...

I took the ACT last December and I used Kaplan to prepare for it.
I got scores in English and math that were consistant with what I got on the practice tests.
I did better in reading on the real test than on the practice tests.
I felt that the science section of the real test was harder than the practice tests.

Also, I found the reviews for math and english in the Kaplan book helpful.

I have both the Kaplan and the PR ACT book, and the princeton review one is SOOOO much better. The Kaplan book is riddled with errors and small mistakes, and the tests are not only poorly representative of what's on the real thing, but the curve is way off.

I'd agree with that, but unfortunately i've exhausted all prep books but the Kaplan, so I was giving it a shot this time around.

I can't really say about the Math, because i've been doing some serious cramming for it since it's, in my opinion, the easiest score to bring up. (And i'm talking a 'full' review in the truest sense of the word). My Math score on the April test was a 27. The two practice test scores for the Kaplan have been 32/33.

On the Kaplan, my reading scores on the practice tests have been 2-4 points lower than on the real test. English was 2-3 points.
