<p>I did pretty well on my PSAT. I got 80 Math, 66 CR, and 67 Writing. Are these numbers a good indicator of how I will do on the actual SAT? I felt that the PSAT was much easier then an actual SAT would be.</p>

<p>don't forget that you also have the essay on the SAT so depending on how good you are at timed essays that could sway your score and math on the SAT's goes up to Algebra 2 whereas PSAT's only go up to Geometry.</p>

<p>^ Yeah my SAT score was about 100 points higher than my PSAT score. And I took the SAT only a couple weeks after the PSAT, so it's not like I had a lot of time to study.</p>
<p>i got a 199/240 on the PSAT and a 2040/2400 on the SAT so i'd say it's accurate.</p>
<p>if you graphed sat vs psat scores you would get pretty high correlation, i'm sure</p>
<p>Mine was really accurate the first time I took the SAT. 53 M = 530 M; 71 CR = 730 CR; 69 W = 650 W.</p>
<p>my PSAT scores, sophomore and junior year, were lower than my SAT scores. seems to be a common theme. I would say, if you keep taking hard classes, and you study a little for the SAT, your scores will probably be higher.
I got a 189 on PSAT Junior year, a 1980 SAT just months later.</p>
<p>i would say that it's pretty accurate but as for myself, I did way better on the SAT than I did on the PSAT.</p>
