Can I just say that I'm a sophomore and I took the test cold and got a 153. This discussion makes me feel like a huge idiot.

PSAT Soph Year = 201
Did a lot of prep over the summer
PSAT Junior Year = 228 (68 CR, 80 M, 80 W)
SAT in November of Junior Year = 2230 (710 CR, 730 M, 790 W)

So I did better on the PSAT (probably an endurance thing – the PSAT is shorter), but it did accurately predict my better/worse subjects pretty well.

PSAT Junior Year - 185
SAT - 1940 (only took once)

my critical reading score went down on the actual SAT, but people i’ve talked to usually score about 100 points higher on the SAT after taking the PSAT.

Very. My junior year PSAT was 215 and my October 2008 SAT Reasoning was 2200.

To anglophilia, I think 2240 is a very good SAT score. The kids at my school would hail you as a genius.

Freshman PSAT:
CR: 65
M: 51
W: 62

Junior PSAT:
CR: 77
M: 52
W: 77

Junior SAT:
CR: 750
M: 640
W: 720

In three months, my math score went up 120 points.

The PSAT wasn’t a great predictor for math, but junior PSAT CR and W scores predicted my SAT scores fairly well.

quite close.
PSAT 200 – SAT in June 2020
PSAT 209 – SAT in June 2170

psat: 160ish
sat: 2170

Psat 205
sat 2220

soph psat: 214
jr psat: 215
sr sat: 2380 (2400 superscored with others)

I had a massive jump…the correlation is pretty off and with prep between them its even more so.
Sophmore PSAT 157
Junior PSAT 189
Junior SAT 2270

soph PSAT-203
Junior PSAT-236
Junior SAT-2180
Senior SAT-2290

meh I wish I had gotten a 2360 haha

did you do actually study for the real sat’s tho?

I didn’t study for any of them lol

207>>2060 so close

PSAT Oct-193
SAT March-2040

Actually…it was oddly accurate, but I feel like the tests were totally different! In other words, I think it might have been a concidence.

PSAT 10th grade: 201
PSAT 11th grade: 224 (80CR, 74M, 70W)
SAT March: 2240 (800CR, 700M, 740W)

Creepy though, huh?

PSAT 10th grade: 187
PSAT 11th grade: 202 (80 Math, 61 CR, 61 W)
SAT 11th grade: 2140 (790 Math, 670 CR, 680 W)

PSAT Soph: 198
PSAT Junior: 208

SAT Junior: 2300

Not that accurate, but I won’t complain :D

My essay was only a 9, so it didn’t make a real big difference either.

Pretty well

PSAT- 1810
SAT- 1850
