[I am DEFINITELY thinking this over LOL. 5 AP classes sounds like a kamikaze (a suicide mission). I might change to Honors statistics, but I'll see how it'll go. I think I can handle it. The AP classes here aren't all that bad; very doable...but will definitely drop my GPA:( Is GPA better than the taking vigorous classes and getting Bs and Cs?]

I have roughly around 150 community service hours and still counting.
I have this internship/job as a tutor.
I volunteer at the library to assist children with their homework.

I just wanted to know am I doing well so far to being accepted to any of the UCs? I know I need to definitely raise my GPA by a lot. I'm just having a rocky start for the beginning for the school year. and again, Is GPA more important than the taking vigorous classes and getting Bs and Cs? Which of the following would be better?

3.7
2 APs
3 honors
one foreign language

VS

3.1
5 APs
one foreign language

?
