SOOOOOO< HOW DO YOU THINK I AM DOING RIGHT NOW? WHAT SHOULD I ADD? IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD INCLUDE??? PLZ HELP ME, is there anything else i can do?
Just make sure you’re taking (and excelling) in the most rigorous schedule you can handle. Lower grades in harder classes mean a lot more than higher grades in easier classes. You’re ec’s seem pretty focused so that’s good.
What do you want to major in?
Just wondering, but, why the use of caps?
1st: I used CAPS because i heard that a psychology article said people take CAPS serious @IBGuy101
2nd: I want to major in International relations/ Business/ or a type of engineering @SOSUSA
Thanks for the help @a20171
No, caps indicate that you are SHOUTING or YELLING which is not seen as a positive by readers.
It got my attention but I chose not to make a constructive comment. You are confirming my initial impression.
I too had a single-minded dream of wanting to go to Harvard in third grade. However, once I actually started doing research on universities, I realized that there are MANY other amazing schools out there. When the time comes, I suggest you do the same and look into other schools as well, especially some that may be easier to get into.
It’s even more difficult to get into MIT than Harvard as an international student. Many who do have exceptional achievements such as winning medals at international olympiads (IMO, IPhO, IChO etc.). Even many who have these achievements get rejected.
I am not international, thankfully… and i have and its been narrowed down to my dream between Engineering at MIT or Business at USC Also, possibly Pre-Med or Agronomy at Stanford
Is there anything i could add to my 4 year plan to make sure i can be UP in that category of students?
@OrchidBloom
Oops I’m really sorry. I mixed up you and another poster whose thread I read right before you.
In any case, I suggest reading http://mitadmissions.org/blogs/entry/applying_sideways.
OK thank you @OrchidBloom
