how am i doing?

<p>i'm a junior in hs & my grades aren't as great as they could be. it's not because i'm stupid or anything but i get super lazy about things. anyway i really really don't want to go to community college but i get the feeling it's where i'm heading.</p>

<p>sophomore year:</p>

<p>geometry - sem. 1 = b / sem. 2 = b
honors history - sem. 1 = b / sem. 2 = b
honors english - sem. 1 = b / sem. 2 = c (laziness to the extreme here)
chemistry - sem. 1 = b / sem. 2 = b
french 2</p>

<p>junior year: (semester grades haven't come in yet but these are the classes i'm in)</p>

<p>algebra 2
ap history
honors english
ap environmental
french 3</p>

<p>i want to go to a state university or maybe even go out of state if possible but i don't know. anyway, i just wanted to know how much i need to improve to go to a state uni which needs a 3.0 gpa to even apply.</p>

<p>We all get lazy every once in a while. Sophomore grades are not very important as long as you improve through your junior and senior year. Work to bring the grades up, and get a few As if you can. A 3.0 won't be difficult with a little work.</p>

<p>Study for those SATs, and you'll be in at any State school you want.</p>
