How am I going to survive one more semester here?

So I am a freshman about to finish up my first semester at my school, and it has not been a pleasant experience. I have a handful of acquaintances, but no "true friends". Other than one really hard class (which I feel pointless for taking because I am definitely not majoring in bio anymore) all of my classes are painfully easy gen eds. I am in one club but it only meets once a week and isn't that spectacular. Most people in said club are very anti-social and just on their phones the whole time, or are a very tight-knit group of seniors. Basically I just really don't like the vibe of this school. It has about 4000 students and is in the middle of NOWHERE.

I wasn't planning on going here for four years anyway, but the only reasons I originally picked here were that it was so secluded and I am from a very small town, so I (well mainly my parents) thought it would be a good transition to college life, but it is so BORING! My college is a known "suitcase school" and almost everyone goes home every weekend. Sometimes I am so hopeless that I will go through the halls in my dorm building and stop and chat with people who have their doors open, but usually it's only like 6 doors in the entire building! Thankfully I am planning on transferring for fall 2013, but idk what I am going to do to get through my final semester here.

You don’t have to spend another semester there. Save your money. Withdraw and attend a community college near your home for the Spring semester. Take some General Eds.there and transfer them to your fall transfer school. Why pay money to stay at a school you hate?
