How am I looking for an acceptance into the University of South Carolina?

I have an accumulative ( weighted) gpa 4.0
My SAT score all together is 1770 (math:580, reading:590, writing:600)
I haven't taken the Act yet, should I?
I'm in the top 20% of my class, have taken AP classes since sophomore year receiving all A's & B's
I also did girls basketball for 3 years and am involved in my schools Student Government Association and Key Club
What do you think?

Are you in state?

And what is your unweighted GPA?

I am not in state, I don’t know if this helps but my father was in the US Air Force so I moved around a lot. Luckily I will have the GI bill to help cover costs. I do not know what my unweighted gpa is. How do you convert it?

@AnnieBeats

OP, then don’t worry about it if you don’t have it. To get into USC, you generally just want to have a lot of a’s and b’s. Maybe a few C’s here and there. If you have that, you should be fine. Your SAT is fine, but to maximize your chances as an OOS student, you should take it once more

Thanks so much for your advice!!!

You will definitely be accepted. Don’t sweat it

@AnnieBeats‌ my actual gpa is 3.82 do you still think I have a chance? THANKS!

You’re good. Do not worry about it one bit

With that GPA, there’s no way they reject you
