I really love mock trial (I’m hoping to do it in college), politics, economics, international relations, etc. and American has a great program and location. It’s my #1 right now, but I’m worried I won’t be able to get in. Could anyone give me tips on how to boost my application over the next year?

Hi! Does anyone know if there are extra supplements to be written in order to apply for scholarships?

Oh, look, American University has a web site!

[AU Freshman Merit Scholarships, Financial Aid, American University](Freshman Scholarships and Merit Awards | American University, Washington, DC)

Sarcasm aside, I’ll admit that American has a really terrible web site. But this was one of those rare cases when the information was actually very easy to find.

LOL. good one Sikorsky! Agree that it’s a remedial website at best. You have to piece together total college costs by adding different sums from different pages of room and board, and tuition, and fees. Very clunky. And if it IS together somewhere, I coudln’t find it so it’s not at all intuitive. Maybe same guys that built the affordable care act site. Ha.
