How am I supposed to get ahead at my school?

Unlike most people on here, I go to a basic public high school. We probably offer a total of seven or eight AP classes and no IB classes. A lot of AP classes are one and a half semesters, which really limits the amount that I can take. Also, you can only take AP classes as a Junior or Senior so that also limits how many I can take. By the end of senior year I will have only taken:
AP French IV
AP US II
AP Government
AP Calc AB
AP Physics
and possibly AP English IV
After obsessively reading these forums (and finally joining) and researching a lot, this just doesn't seem to cut it anymore.
I mean, I don't want to go to crazy selective schools. My dream school is Georgetown but I have come to terms with that not happening. Still, a girl can dream.....
Should I try and take some courses at my local community college?
Do you have any other suggestions?

5-6 APs is still a lot. You can definitely get into a good college with those. It wouldn’t hurt to take classes at your community college, though.

I’m also thinking of self studying a few AP courses (2 or 3) but I don’t really know all the logistics of it.

All colleges want to see is that you did the best with what you were given. It looks like you have, so don’t worry about it. They know that most kids don’t get to choose their school
