I know this sounds silly, but I want to do an independent science research while I am in high school. Now, how and where exactly do you get ideas? What kind of books, papers, reports, etc , do you read to gain more ideas and knowledge? How do you start a research?
I have limited resources in my high school and I don't really have anyone to ask (except here).
If you have done a research in high school, could you tell me how and where you got your ideas and how did you start it.
Thanks.

In what? Science is a very broad topic/area

well there must be something you’re interested in

I am more interested in life science I think. Well, I don’t know much about physical science.
