How and Where do you study?

Do you do everything you want to do for one subject including assignments and studying? Do you finish all due assignments, then go back to each subject and study? If not one of those two, how do you do homework and study?

Where do you do your homework/study?

I usually finish all due assignments, then go back to what I need to study according to my priority list (which subjects I have the next day, or which subject will take take the longest for me personally to study like Biology).

I have a desk in my room which is the only place I ever do school stuff, except in the summer. I do my summer reading a leisure reading downstairs on the sofa or on my bed if it's noisy downstairs. I need to have peace and quiet when I study/read/do homework, otherwise I just won't be able to concentrate.

I live in an apartment, so I’m pretty much stuck with loud Asian parents in all areas of the “house”.

I finish my homework first and then go and study for whatever tests/quizzes I have the next day. I also have a desk in my room, but, as I said before, it’s pretty useless :stuck_out_tongue: I need to get some Bose headphones haha.

I do all of my homework/assignments first and then study afterward. Usually I never have more than one test/quiz a day (a school policy) and I have a bad habit of procrastinating the studying lol :stuck_out_tongue:
I have a desk but there’s only enough room for my computer on it so I usually sit on my bed to do work.
I usually listen to my iPod while doing work unless it’s an English assignment where I have to read a lot.

My house is as quiet as a graveyard so I can easily do my homework on the kitchen table without worrying about distractions. Other than that, when I procrastinate, I go to the school’s library during lunch or my free time and do it there. It’s like an anti-teenager magnet that keeps kids away so it’s always nice and relaxing there.

This coffee shop down the road from my neighborhood. I fall asleep at my house.

I always do my homework and studying at my desk in my room. I’ll do all of my homework assignments that are due the next day, then I’ll study for upcoming tests and quizzes. After I do all of this, if it’s not really late, I’ll start working on homework assignments that aren’t due
the next day.

I don’t study. When I get homework I usually finish it by the end of school when I don’t I put pandora on and work on my floor and my bed.

I only do whatever’s due for first period. The rest I just do the period before the class it’s due in lol. In half my classes all we do is listen to teacher talk about nothing for an hour. I study for whatever test is the next day after doing first period homework.

I study in my living room. Clean and quiet with a super comfy couch :)

I don’t study. I get too much BS homework that consumes my time. I study in the perids before and do great most of the time.

Homework- On my bed, cross legged on a hard textboook, or type on my bed on my laptop. The TV [not music] has to be on even though I don’t look at it. The background noise I guess.

Ref room, whenever its in a timely fashion for some event down the road (deadline, exam, etc.).

Work hard, (LAN) party hard.

At my desk in my room. I put on my Dre beats, close the shades, close the door and hit the books!

Last year I didn’t really have a schedule or a system for homework and studying (explains my low grades compared to other years).

This final year, I plan on using my desk like I should have been all along. I just super cleaned my room so it’s easier to work there now.

I will do homework at my desk and read books from AP lit on my bed or somewhere out of the house (Starbucks, library). I’ll study for tests at my desk only when the test is the next day (I’m 75% sure this habit won’t change, no matter how much I want it to)…

Uuugghh I don’t know. I wanted to answer this thread but idk

I finish all of my homework before studying. I typically start with the easiest subjects first to get them out of the way, and then take my time on the more difficult assignments. I then study at night in the sun room because there are clear doors and windows all around which creep me out and prevent me from wanting to take a nap :)

I do half my homework at school before band and the other half at home in my basement with the door locked in a room with a TV or computer or cell service.

Last year, I studied in my kitchen. My house has a library, but my brother just uses it as his personal little dance studio because it’s pretty spacious. He also convinced my parents to install a bigass mirror in it (I mean, WHAT THE HECK???) However, I got a neat, simple desk this summer, so I plan on using it for homework and study this school year.

I used to study at Borders, but Starbucks works just as well. For me if I see other people around me studying then it motivates me, basically if they can do it so can I. The noise level in these places aren’t loud it is usually quiet, but not dead silent. There is some very quiet music and a few hushed voices.
I do my homework like this:
Get all the subjects that are due first done.
Study for all the nearest tests.
Then go back to work on homework that is due in a farther period of time.

I tend to study in my room when I can. Sometimes it’s frustrating (since I don’t really have open desk space) so I go to a table in another room. When I’m reading a lot I might lay on my bed (not such a good idea late at night) or find a couch. I’m thinking about getting a new desk so I can fit a computer and space to do homework but my room is a little cramped.

I tend to do small, half-hour assignments due the next day first. Then I address major assignments. Lastly, if I have time and energy, I study for as much as I can.

I go to a private school where the day starts after 8:00, so I get into school early, around 6:55, and study in the cafeteria before school. It’s a pretty good arrangement since being there kind of forces you to study.

my room, close the door, close the shades, phone off (computer still on though), low-volume music.

My desk is left unused because I prefer laying out on my bed. Usually I attack the homework when I get home and procastinate studying for tests till I’m about to go to sleep.

At my desk in my room. I had it custom-made for it to have plenty of space for my computer and stuff but now I realize it is still small :X
