How are AP scores reported to colleges?

I want to cancel one of my scores or withhold...what is the difference? Since I'm a junior, I didn't put down a college to receive my grades. I know I can cancel at any time, but they say if I cancel after June 15, it will be on my 2007 report. Will this be the report that will be sent to the colleges I apply to in the fall? And how do the colleges confirm my AP scores with what I put on my application? Does my school send it to them? I'm really freaking out! Sorry. THANKS SO MUCH =]]

APs were not designed for college admissions. Don't send an official score report at all. Just self-report your good scores in the "Other" section of the app. The UCs, for example, will not ask to confirm your scores. If you fabricate your app, and colleges later find out all your AP 5's were really 1's, they'll just rescind your acceptance.

I believe you have to call collegeboard and tell them to send your scores to schools you wish to receive them, or they don't get sent. You can ,as was stated write them in on apps.

Are AP test scores self-reported at the vast majority of colleges, or do some want to receive official reports from CB

They are all self-reported during admissions. Then after you are accepted or declined, they look at them only if you can possibly get AP credit from it...
