How are career services here (GECD?)

<p>Anyone here had experience with the career services department? At my old school it was always hit-or-miss; some were extremely helpful, others I felt like they had no idea what to do with me, never called back or followed-up with me after.</p>

<p>Were they helpful for you? What did they do with you? Did you just meet once and make a plan or did you keep meeting with your career counselor?</p>

<p>GECD is there if you have questions, but college is not like HS. You’re on your own. They’re not going to plan everything for you - it’s up to you to choose the classes and the career that interests you.</p>
