How are chicks in the US?

I've made two long threads about this type of thing. In it, I said, "it's funny how women can kick and scream, claim their making their point, and expect people to listen. Yet if a guy does the same thing, he's defective for it and doesn't deserve to be heard."

Case in point: Vail doesn't need help. He's a little more unhinged than, say, me (heh) but he's right.

Thanks...I think -_-. Anyway, I found that other thread you mentioned and it certainly looks like it'll be a good read.

Jeez, Vail. That link is so disturbing.

That is why I hate women. Young women nowadays are whores. No denying it.

Umm doesn't the chart say that each woman you're sleeping with would have as many partners as you do. So if you've slept with 7 people who each slept with 7 other people you'd be exposed to 127 people. If you call the women you're sleeping with sluts then you must be one too since the numbers are equal.
Uh, the point of my link wasn't to pin all of the blame on women, DeluxeHardballer. Some people think that men who have lots of sex = studs and women who have lots of sex = sluts, but I hold that both men and women who carelessly run around having sex are both morons, to me, the gender doesn't matter. The site is a pro-abstinence site for everybody, and a lot of the material there is a good read.

DeluxeHardballer, contrary to what you posted, there are quite a few good women out there, but there are a few problems...
(1) They are already happily married
(2) They are too old for us
(3) They don't live in our general geographic area
(4) Divorce penalties for men and the rewards for women (in some areas) are just too harsh and would corrupt even the most affable women.

For these reasons and many others, many guys like you and I have decided that its not worth it to date or marry, for me, I'd like to see these laws and mindsets changed. I don't buy into the whole 'all women are [insert derogatory name here]' stuff that it seems like you believe in. In order for our views to be heard and for attitudes to change, we have to keep to the high ground and express our views clearly and without ad hominem attacks.

Vail and Deluxe are stupid ****ing trolls. Ignore.

I haven't called anybody any names, I haven't flame baited, censor bypassed, or done anything that is characteristic of your garden variety Internet troll. Before (stooping so low and) calling somebody a deragatory name, its customary to learn what that term means beforehand. Just some advice.

Women are nothing we need to get involved in at this point. We are thinking ahead rather than fixating on temporary pleasure.
Agreed. If things (drastically) change and its actually worth it for me to date/marry, that's always a possibility, but right now, we're paying X Thousand dollars to learn, not date.

Seriously guys, "girls are evil".

Regarding the BS about choosing a career over love, did you know you can actually have both? Amazing, isn

Crud, my post got cut off, knew I should've saved it. Oh well, maybe another time, at least most of what I wrote made it in there.

PS: Generalizations and ad hominem arguments are unacceptable from either gender. I find it hilarious and sad that you feel entitled to jump on BlahDeBlah for generalizing when this entire thread is nothing but a series of sexist generalizations. I don't agree with either of you, but the hypocrisy in post #129 (and many others) is astounding.
Hypocrisy? Where in this thread have I made sexist generalizations? And what I said to BlahDeBlah was because sometimes you need generalizations aren't always a bad thing. People assume they are because there might be someone to whom it doesn't apply...even though that's rarely the case. And if it isn't the case, then the generalization doesn't apply. So taking all this umbrage about generalization you don't promote is a little ridiculous. And stubborn.

I've not heard too many men say they hate women because of their anatomy and chromosomes. There's usually some downward spiral in behavior and logic that he's become accustomed to. That's why I don't readily dismiss a lot of "anti-male" arguments. Sure, some women are quick to jump to the conclusion that men suck without much reason other than the fact that they are men, but...
Attention Captain Missed-the-Point: If everyone else in this thread can make gross generalizations, so can I. But your point seems to be that only gross generalizations made by males that agree with your own gross generalizations are allowed, and all others are wrong and worthy of insult, right? But it's very, very simple: if all women want to do is marry a rich man to screw him over in divorce as so many people in this thread believe, then all men want to do is have sex with "hot chicks" - not talk to them, not love them, not view them as people, just have oogle them and then sex with them. If one's going to be true, then so is the other. Are we all happy now?
Ew. Don't be that way. It's not about their views echoing mine...and you know that. And you're just trying to play this as an issue of fairness, while some of the people making the sexist remarks are operating under some truth. Not to say you aren't, but let's be for real: how many men do you think marry women who end up taking them to the cleaners during divorce? Okay, how many men do you think only marry hot women to use as trophy wives? The divorce rate being 50% in this country (the U.S.), how many of these female divorcees are knockout trophy wives? I'm just saying.

If that's not a sexist generalization, I'm the future Miss America.

See, I want to like men. I'd just rather they [the ones who posted in this thread] weren't so darn antagonistic against women, is all. I'd say that's fair.

That's cute. That's not a generalization, honey, that's a fact.
Not to justify their antagonism, but have you ever thought that maybe there's a reason for it. Just like...there's a reason for your views?

So some men are rapists. The majority aren't. Does that give me the right to demonize ALL men, in general?
So some women are gold-diggers. The majority aren't. Does that give you the right to demonize ALL women, in general?

Oh, and sorry, sweetie*, but where I'm from, "kicking and screaming, claiming to be making [one's] point" is not considered socially acceptable behavior in men or in women.

*And besides, using terms of endearment to condescend your opponent is just plain childish.

You're right, but I was talking to BlahDeBlah, and the point is, if men are disgruntled about women because there is a high concentration of them who end up being taken to the cleaners by their ex-wives...that's legitimate. Is it legitimate to say men only marry trophy wives? Partially. But I ask you: which one do you think happens more often?

And I didn't mean "honey" to be condescending. I'm Latino and sometimes the way I say certain things slips out. Sorry.

Then I'm sorry I overreacted. :)

But somehow, when a woman is disgruntled because a high concentration of men treat women like objects, that's not legitimate. Got it.

Well, that's what I've been saying all along, and you've essentially been telling me to f**k off because I'm a liar and none of my opinions are valid. If you have no problems with that statement, there was no reason to take issue with my post to begin with.
