How are college students different from high schoolers?

Namely, undergrad students. In what aspects are tehy different?

College students think they’re better than high schoolers, and high schoolers know that isn’t true. ;)

I would say college students tend to be more responsible? I’m got going to put that on any kind of scale though, since there are just as many irresponsible and/or spoiled people as there are responsible/mature people.

college students are older, and generally have more freedom, but not necessarily more responsible.

high school students are younger, generally live with mommy and daddy, and wish they were in college already.

College students do their own laundry… well, at least occasionally…

Since Sunday, I have discovered that they are not an ounce different, especially not what I thought. Maybe it’s just the ones I know. I don’t know.

I’d say molly4190 hit the nail on the head. That’s really all there is to it.

I’m guessing Pathetique is in high school?

Sure, there’s bastions of idiots and immature brats in college. But c’mon… there’s a four year difference in age and maturity.

You see a lot mouth-breathing, drooling idiots with two digit IQs in college, and you might think it’s the same, but then you go back to the high school scene somehow – and it’s like whoaa… everyone here is 10x more immature and naive than I remembered.

College girls are hotter, more experienced, and a much higher proportion are legal.

Yeah, because I would totally comment on a thread about the differences between high schoolers and college kids if I didn’t interact with college kids on a daily basis, or rather frequently, which would more than likely happen at a college. Way to use your noggin, there. :]

So that means no. What, is everyone who thinks college kids aren’t that different in high school or something?

Are we talking a 17/18 year old freshman, or a 22 year old senior? Pretty big difference.
