how are deferred EAs considered in RD?

<p>just wondering if one is deferred EA, how is that applicant viewed in the RD pool? I'm sending in about 4 new, critcal essays regarding literature and art history and another piano CD and my piano teacher just called and said she would write me a rec.</p>

<p>and then i did really well this past semester. </p>

<p>also: anyone know the percentage of defers who are accepted in RD?</p>

<p>It is difficult to predict. My guess it is based on how one communicates one's desire (passion) to attend and, of course, the quality and quantity of the RD pool.</p>
