atrophicwhisper, TECHNICALLY we've had about 2 months. But, with AP testing and all that... let's just say that I'm only about 3 pages in.

What's it on, may I ask?

wow...reading this thread makes me feel lucky, our finals are only 1/13 of our grade. I love it, there are a few finals that I could get a zero on and still get a 90 for the year hahaha

AP Government: No Final!!!!!!!!
AP Calculus: No Final!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AP English Literature: Senior Project Presentation (25% of total grade) and Final????
AP Chemistry: Lab write ups for 2 long labs considered as Final

It's going so well that I'm done! It's summer for me!

^
How do schools come up with numbers like "Finals will be 1/13th of the grade?" I can understand differences in percent, but fractions seem weird.

Well, at my school, there are 3 six-weeks per semester. each six-weeks grade counts twice towards the semester grade. The semester exam counts once.

Therefore, finals are 1/7 of the semester grade. IDK about the other methods though.

^ my school does the three 6-week cycle thing too. but for us, each cycle is 25%, and then the final is 25%. im done though! today was my last one.

My finals are on the last week of school

i just found out my semester grades. all a's!!!

Mine are week after next.
H English: We have a final research paper, due on wed, and our written should be pretty easy.
H Alg 3/4 Trig: All on Trig, worth 20% I believe. Should be pretty hard but I have a 97, so I think I'll be sort of okay.
AP World: Video project and book write-ups, he won't even read the write-ups most likely, and the video shouldn't be too bad.
AP Chem: No final.
AP Bio: Already had final, got 220/200...hah.

Psych at CC: Final went pretty well, expecting an A in the class.
