<p>On an aside different school districts use different definitions of special ed ie In LA schools what you are referring to would be gifted students and the students who arent gifted or average constitute special ed group</p>

<p>It is still a Special form of education. People shouldnt have to worry about stuff like this.</p>

Brooklyn Tech
Styvesant</p>
<p>These schools are considered Specialized High schools and fall under the states Special education Budget.</p>
<p>What sucks about LAUSD is that Gifted students dont fall into special ed and are given less funding than special ed.</p>
