My act is a 19, and my current GPA is 3.4.

I've done a lot of sports as well as been a part of my schools key club and SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions)

This school is my top choice and I realllllllyy want to go here, but I'm very scared of getting rejected.
Should I send in my resume to the admissions office, to help my chances?

19 isn’t going to cut it. At all. 3.4 is pushing it too, but boy oh boy, 19? Yeah boooossstt that.

If you are a standout athlete the 19 will work. Otherwise take another exam.

According to [data at About.Com](University of Alabama: Acceptance Rate, SAT/ACT Scores, GPA), that 19 puts you below the 25th percentile of admitted students. According to [this scattergram](<a href=“The University of Alabama Admissions and Acceptance Rate - Tuscaloosa, AL | Cappex”>The University of Alabama Admissions and Acceptance Rate - Tuscaloosa, AL | Cappex) at Cappex, 19 seems to be a magical cutoff for most students. Cappex uses self-reported data, but 19 still makes sense. ACT calls 19 the cutoff for college readiness, and a lot of schools use that number for a variety of purposes.
