How are my chances for Pepperdine, UCSB, UCI, Cal Poly SLO, and University of Miami

I am a high school senior. I have a 3.91 GPA (4.23 weighted) and I will have taken 8 AP classes by the end of this year.
Freshman year was a bad year for me. I got a 3.8 gpa
Sophmore year I got a 3.88
Junior year I a 4.2
This year so far I have a 4.2 again.

Extracurriculars:
Baseball JV/V (9,10,12)
Golf JV (10,11)
Soccer V (12)
Travel Baseball outside school (9,10,11,12)
Travel Soccer outside school (9)
I have played international baseball tournaments in Australia (9,11)
I am in 2 clubs
Key Club (12)
Pay it Forward (11,12)
I am doing a charity event which provides starving families with nonperishable foods.
I did a summer internship with a medical doctor (11)
I did accounting for my dad's office (10,11,12)
AP Scholar award (12)

I coach a baseball team named RBI (reviving baseball in inner cities)

Standardized Test Scores:
SAT1: 1850 (570CR, 630M, 650W)
I take it this weekend and realistically, I feel I can get a 2000.
Also I am part African American if that helps at all.

Please chances me for the Universities listed above, and I will chance back.

Pepperdine: High match
UCSB: High match
UCI: Match
Cal Poly SLO: Reach
U Miami: High match

Do you have a safety?

San Diego state

And I totally disagree with you in regards to UCSB. I feel it is definitely a match not a high match.

I’m going to have to bump this. I need more responses.

I could almost have said UCSB as a match but sometimes it is better to err on the side of less acceptance odds.

What would I need to do to increase my chances for UCSB?

If you actually scored a 2000 then the odds for all schools on that list are much better.

And do my ECs and my ethnicity help me out as well?

Solid EC’s. Assuming you hit 2000 on the SAT, I’d Say…

Pepperdine: Match
UCSB: Match
UCI: Low Match
Cal Poly SLO: don’t know this school
U Miami: Match

Would be very surprised if none of them accepted u

With my current SAT score, what are my chances?

I first chanced you with your current SAT scores. Here’s a new chance report at 2000:

Pepperdine: Low match
UCSB: Low match
UCI: Low match
Cal Poly SLO: Low match
U Miami: Safety

Pepperdine:Match
UCSB:Match
UCI:Match
Cal Poly: high match-reach
U Miami:unsure

Are you planning on playing sports in college? I know it’s too late to be a recruited athlete, but admissions officers do think highly of sports, especially at your level. Community service is good, too. I’m not entirely familiar with any of these schools, but I think you have a good chance if you can get your SATs up a bit. Your grades are great and ethnicity always helps.
What’s your essay about?

My essay is about me being African but I appear white and I have blonde hair. It’s pretty emotional. Also I’m good enough to play baseball at the college level.

If you can get at least a 1930 then your chances are:
Pepperdine: Match
UCSB: Match
UCI: Low Match-match
Cal poly: High match
UMiami: High match

You do need a safety though, if you like the UC’s look at UCSC or if you want florida then check UF(probably low match) or USF just as a backup in case the others don’t workout but I can see you being accepted to at least 3 of those if you get your SAT up!

That sounds great. I think you have an excellent chance at all of them.

Thanks very much! Pepperdine is probably my number 1 choice.

I think you have a good chance at all of these schools, especially pepperdine, UCSB, and UCI. Your minority and athlete status should elevate your chances.

Thank you for your response
