General Comments : Applying ED to Cornell, EA to Michigan. What do you guys think my chances are at those places and do you think I am competitive for other top schools? How about Upenn or Columbia? I just want a lot of input.

You have a great shot at Michigan and a good one at Cornell too (especially if you apply ED). Your SAT is great, and URM status will definitely help out. GPA is a tad low and ECs are a little week, but if you put a lot of time into the ones you do, then I don’t really see a problem with them.

Chance me back?

I think you’ve got really good chances at both. We’ve got pretty similar profiles, and I think you’ll definitely get into Michigan. As for Cornell, you’re pretty much there with everything in your profile, your URM status is going to give you an even bigger bump. So i’d say you’re in to both.

Would you mind chancing me back?
